What to expect.

Wednesday: We will be taking the chapter 2 test. This should take most of the block, if not all. I will be distributing the project for spring break. This will allow you some time to possibly get the project done BEFORE break – I suggest that you do your best to have something together by Friday, and tidy things up over break.

Thursday: We will be attending the opera during blocks B and C. Obviously there is no new work for this time.

Friday: Class will be shortened due to the early dismissal; we will be working on the project during class. I will be around to help people get through, and will offer computers to type your project.

Block B Elementary Functions PSP:Study, study, study. I hope you are all ready for the chapter 1 test tomorrow, there will be one question of each of the following types: permutations, combinations, and linear regressions. Additionally, look over your chapter 1 review work, and your homework from chapter 1. This should be a pretty easy test if you study. Don't forget about inverse functions!!!

Juniors: Our first PSSA ramp-up meeting was in the cafeteria today. All juniors are welcome, and we ask that you come early so that we can get through everything.

Juniors and Seniors: If you do the "homework" from the ramp-up, I will give you 5 bonus homework points for each assignment. I have copies of the assignments each day posted outside of my room AFTER the ramp-up. They will remain there until the next morning, and I will be happy to work through any of the problems during tutoring.

If you feel like you need a refresher, please feel free to come to the ramp-up next week Monday through Thursday in the cafeteria. We will have review materials, test taking strategies and helpful hints to prepare you for the PSSA tests on the 17th-19th of THIS MONTH. They are less than 2 weeks away!!!
