Geometry PSP: Be sure to look over surface area, pythagorean theorem, similar triangles and triangle properties
Elementary Functions PSP: Logistic equations and their properties: specifically domain and range, limits to growth (or decay), y-intercept, and rate of growth.
Here is a zip file that has scanned copies of the old book. It holds several files containing problems from different sections. I would suggest you look through these and work through them as a review. I have solutions and you can either ask for them in class or via email. It is a 4mb file, so it may take a minute to download, but should be worth it. Look at the file HwP279, there are some good practice problems on page 280. P313 has some good exponential/log problems, and P418 has good trigonometry review problems. The file review holds good problems asking about domain/range and properties of the 12 basic functions. Expect several on Thursday's final...

Note for Geometry classes: The final exam will be split into 3 sections this year. The first section will be given on the 16th, and will be an open ended formatted exam. The second section is a multiple choice type test, and will be given on the 20th. This second section will focus on chapters 1 through 6. The final section of the exam will be given on the 22nd or 23rd, depending on what block you have Geometry. This final section is also multiple choice and will focus on chapters 7-12. The first two sections are a full block, and the third is designed to be a 60 minute exam. More news is to follow.
Block B Elementary Functions PSP: Look at P.745, it is not formally assigned, but you will be responsible for the content. We looked at double angle identities. I would look through problems 1-7, 11, 12, 15, 16, 19, 23-26, 31-36. Tomorrow is Law of Sines day, Thursday is Law of Cosines day. As for final exam news, I am 95% sure that your open ended exam will be January 20th during class and the multiple choice will be on the 22nd. Both are district created and I have a good idea of what we need to review between now and then.
Block C Geometry PSP: P. 733 3-33 multiples of 3, 33 is the featured problem

Block A Geometry PSP: P. 723 2-11 all, and 16-22 evens.
Block B Elementary Functions PSP: P. 468 3-35 multiples of 3 and be sure to have your general solution (from below) ready to turn in tomorrow, no exceptions. Since we did the solution to cos 75 in class, I am posting it again, this time making sure to be careful with my signs (sorry!). Also, if you had below a 75%, be sure you had a parent sign your grade printout. You are responsible for taking care of this no later than TONIGHT, so that you can turn it into me by Tuesday.
