Block A Geometry PSP: Surprisingly the most commonly missed problems were the pythagorean theorem problems. Hopefully you can take a little time over break and review your work from that chapter, as it is one of the most important topics in geometry!
Block B Elementary Functions PSP: You are responsible for both a general and a specific solution to the problem of finding the sine and cosine of an angle that can be expressed as a sum or difference of two angles that we know. For example, the problem we started in class: What is the cosine of 75 degrees? We know that the cosine of 135 degrees is -sqrt(2)/2 and the cosine of 60 degrees is 1/2, and we know that 135 - 60 = 75 degrees, but what is the connection??? Use a unit circle and diagram out the situation. See how you can find the coordinates of an angle with terminal side 75 degrees from the origin.
Block C Geometry PSP: Surprisingly the most commonly missed problems were the pythagorean theorem problems. Hopefully you can take a little time over break and review your work from that chapter, as it is one of the most important topics in geometry!
