Block A Geometry PSP: Surprisingly the most commonly missed problems were the pythagorean theorem problems. Hopefully you can take a little time over break and review your work from that chapter, as it is one of the most important topics in geometry!
Block B Elementary Functions PSP: You are responsible for both a general and a specific solution to the problem of finding the sine and cosine of an angle that can be expressed as a sum or difference of two angles that we know. For example, the problem we started in class: What is the cosine of 75 degrees? We know that the cosine of 135 degrees is -sqrt(2)/2 and the cosine of 60 degrees is 1/2, and we know that 135 - 60 = 75 degrees, but what is the connection??? Use a unit circle and diagram out the situation. See how you can find the coordinates of an angle with terminal side 75 degrees from the origin.

Block A Geometry PSP: P. 692 3-18 multiples of 3
Block B Elementary Functions PSP: My suggestion is to keep working on the proofs if you are having troubles. There are plenty of problems to work on through 5.2, and you can even look through the chapter review for more. We are getting behind, so reviewing the information from 5.3 before class on Monday would be very helpful.

Block A Geometry PSP: Finish the side of the worksheet from class, and look to the other side for what we'll do on Monday.
Block B Elementary Functions PSP: Nice job in class today, #6 is difficult, but you just have to keep working at the diagram and with what you know. Remember to NOT use the 1degree information, and for #3, please list speed in MPH. Remember a new notebook for Monday, and I hate to do this, but there will be a TON of notes to take - a new pencil might be nice!

Block A Geometry PSP:No new homework, enjoy semi!
Block B Elementary Functions PSP: Please work on your take home test. There are two corrections -- with number 3, make sure you determine speed in miles per hour. Number 6 should NOT have the info of a 1degree swing on it. Disregard any angle measure given as it is INCORRECT. Draw out your diagram and find a way to discover the angle WITHOUT using the 1 degree given (again, it is incorrect and will throw you off).

Yay! We are back online!!!!
Block A Geometry PSP:P. 661-662 3-21 odd
Block B Elementary Functions PSP: P. 439 Look through 29-68, but my suggestion is to actually be sure you can do 39-52, and discuss the graphs for 53-66 (I wouldn't worry about graphing unless you struggled the other day in class.) Take home test will be given in class tomorrow -- if you will not be in class, it is your responsibility to get a copy between NOW and Friday afternoon. The exam is due by the beginning of class Monday, with no exceptions. 10% will be deducted for every day it is late. If you do not plan on being in school Monday, you must email me BEFORE class and find a way to get me the exam on time.
