Block A Geometry PSP: Finish P.77 32-35 if you didn't already and get me your warmup journal to look at!
Block B Elementary Functions PSP: P. 148 25 - 53 odd. I was asked if you could expect a quiz on Friday -- of course, it's Friday!... Since we're done with the chapter, I'm going to focus on generating functions from other functions and inverses. (f(g(x))) and g(f(x)) along with (f+g)(x) -- domain and range are always fair things to ask about!

Block A Geometry PSP:P.168 #23 and 32-34 all Test Wednesday!
Block B Elementary Functions PSP: Sorry we didn't get to go over homework, but hopefully inverse functions made sense. I'm glad parametric equations clicked so quickly. Try P. 135 2-20 even. Don't graph 6 or 8, just get the t-table and get the algebraic representation of y as a function of x. Chapter test Friday!
Some selected answers:
#4 (5,-1/8)
#8 b y=2x^2 -5
#16 y=(2x+3)/(x-1)
#22 y=x^3 +2

Study angle relationships around parallel lines.
Block B Elementary Functions PSP: P. 124, 1-8all
Study the twelve basic functions, and be able to identify each graph by name. Also be sure you can identify basic information about them (continuity, boundedness, asymptotes, domain, range and symmetry).
Block C Geometry PSP: P.176, 23-33 all
Study angle relationships around parallel lines. Please do NOT try to finish the worksheet we looked at towards the end of class. This is a classroom activity that I would like to revisit a few times over the next week.

Block A Geometry PSP: Homework is to finish sierpinski's triangle . I will delay the test until Monday, but you will have a quiz tomorrow so be sure to study.
Block B Elementary Functions PSP: Yes, for sure you will have a quiz tomorrow.... Count on just interval notation, so you don't have to be terribly familiar with the 12 basic functions yet. Also, I will finally formally check the homework from Tuesday, so have that done (it was posted on Wednesday). Other than that, make sure you have sketches of all of the 12 basic functions on the graph paper I gave you.
Block C Geometry PSP: Test is tomorrow. Finish serpinski's triangle for homework, and study study study!!! P. 60-65 is the chapter review, I suggest you start there...

Thank you for your patience with the substitute while I was out on Tuesday. For those of you that I saw today, you know that the homework that you received from the sub is due tomorrow. I checked over what I assigned on Monday already, and we will catch up and discuss the new topics Thursday and Friday.
Block A Geometry PSP: Finish Practice 1.5 worksheet. --- If you are planning on missing tomorrow (field trip, ect...) we will be finishing up chapter 1, working with regular polygons and reviewing for the chapter test Friday.
Block B Elementary Functions PSP: I asked the substitute to give you P. 113-114 1-28 all -- this is going over all of the 12 basic functions. Please come with questions tomorrow, and be sure you're ok with interval notation.
Block C Geometry PSP: Nice job with degree to radian and radian to degree conversions. Please finish the last two questions, and work on p. 64 14-22 skip #20 Be sure to be studying, the chapter test will be Friday!
