Algebra I: Please work through the worksheet given in class today. I will be discussing this worksheet and collecting it tomorrow. We will review procedures every day this week, and will start through our first unit. Look for a quiz relating to the first homework assignment on Friday.
Algebra II: Finish (if you did not already) the exercise on selecting outfits. Try to recognize the pattern without having to list all possible choices.

Algebra II: Your open ended final will be given block B on Tuesday, please study linear systems (creating equations for two lines, finding where they cross, graphing, ect.) and quadratic graphing. P. 105 is good to study from, as well as P. 298.
Elementary Functions: Your chapter test was given in class today, and you should have a good start on things. Finish the rest at home, and study the following topics for the multiple choice test (ranked by # of questions on the test):
Right Triangle Trigonometry
Exponential equations (growth/decay)
Log equations
Polynomial Functions and rational expressions
Power Functions
The open ended test should be similar in format to the practice with the topics being: logistic equations and right triangle trigonometry.
Try these:
p.412 #22, 23, **25
P.409 quick review
p. 377 31-38 & 45-48
p 364 quick review
p353 45-54

Algebra II: Tests went well, we'll start to review on Thursday for Tuesday's part of the midterm.
Elementary Functions: Sorry for the lack of post. Yesterday and today's assignment is 5-29, every other odd (5, 9, 13, ect...) think of the function f(x)=4x+1 on a domain of [1,7]
Both pages are scanned here.
Topics to be posted tonight!

Algebra II: P. 357, 32 - 36 all, and finish (if you did not already) p. 358, 58-60 all from last night.
Elementary Functions: Hopefully the test was easy, we will continue to work with trig functions for another week and a half, and finish with a probability section. If you have not already, please copy down the identity tables on pages 424, 425, 426, 441 and 442 on a new piece of paper and DO NOT LOSE IT! You will need this to refer to during class and while trying homework. Speaking of homework, try to look through P 430, 19-29 odd, the answers are in the back, but the work is more important than the answer!

Elementary Functions: Homework quiz tomorrow!!! Make sure you have things from chapter 4, especially sections 4.8 and 4.2 --- there will be one new question, and it will have to do with 4.4 (specifically, graphing).
Homework tonight for A is 31-51 odd on page 377
Make sure you finished the assignment from yesterday.
For C, homework is to be sure yesterday's assignment is complete, and look over the chapter review on p. 418-420.
