Algebra II: Test will be Tuesday, be sure you can do problems from each of the sections in chapter 1. Test topics should include simplifying expressions, solving equations, solving equations for a given variable, solving and graphing inequalities and absolute value equations and inequalities.
Elementary Functions: Test will be strikingly like the homework/classwork, I hope you followed along. First, I would look at the key ideas on page 55 and be sure you can say a good sentence or two about each concept. Next, in Properties, Theorems, and Formulas the list, be sure you know and understand the distance formula, midpoint formula, and quadratic formula. Be sure you are comfortable with interval notation and have some idea of domain and range. Finally, equations of circles are fair game, so you should know how to write the equation of a circle given a point and radius or work backwards given an equation, finding the center and radius.
